| For me, the arrival of 2010 meant the beginning of not only a new year but also a new time in my life. I will be turning 40 this year and though it is just a number and I don’t “feel” 40, it is still unavoidably a milestone. I questioned where I am, where I am going, and where I want to be and what I found is that I am very fortunate. I am happily married, a proud mother, a successful business owner and I spend a lot of my time doing things I love to do.

What I wanted was a cause to support, something to feel passionate about. The choice was actually quite easy…Water. Water was already drawing attention to itself in my life in various spiritual and non-spiritual ways. Water represents emotion, life blood, understanding and introspection. Water is one thing, no matter where you live or who you are, that we all have in common. Keeping it clean, drinkable, sustainable, and safe is vitally important to our continued survival.
